Fees

André at “Mediclaim” (tel 012 345 6023 / 1281) med2@mediclaim.org.za manages my accounts and deal with the medical aid claims and all proof of payment including EFT’s or cash deposit slips, which we will forward to him or you on Mediclaim’s request.

Fees for 2025 are as follows:

A First Visit Fee of R1365 for individual clients (51 min) apply and is payable on the day of consultation by EFT or cash, you will receive an invoice to claim it back from your medical aid.
A Medical Aid client has a fixed rate as determined by the medical aid tariffs guide. Should your medical aid not pay the full amount a co-payment by you may apply.
A Private patient has a fixed rate of R1250 per consultation (51 min) payable on the day of consultation.
Prescribed Minimum Benefit (PMB) patients will pay the fixed rate as determined by the medical aid tariffs guide.
Group/Couples therapy fees for 2024 are R1953 per session (81 min) and payable on day of consultation. This can be claimed from your medical aid by yourself.
This year we are also starting with group-therapy sessions which is a more cost effective option. Groups will consist out of 6-8 persons and is in general 81 min per session. Please contact Marissa should you want more information on our group-therapy sessions.
The rates for Clinic and Hospital patients differ and depend on time spent and time of day.
Because I handle the submission of claims for all Hospital -, PMB - and most medical aid clients, a submission fee of R50 apply.
Writing of reports/letters, will be charged accordingly to time spend on writing them.
In the event of an after-hours consultation I will be charging the standard rate fee plus 50%.
